New Korea-Europe Quantum S&T Cooperation Center held its opening ceremony in Brussels

Today, on Wednesday 18 October 2023, The Korea-Europe Quantum Science Technology Cooperation Center(KE-QSTCC) held its opening ceremony in Brussels.

Commissioned by Korean government, the Korea-EU Research Centre(KERC) has supported and coordinated the establishment of KE-QSTCC from earlier this year. Both organizations share the same address at Rue de la Science and they will collaborate closely to increase Korea-Europe research cooperation.

In his congratulatory address, Korean Science Minister Lee Jong-Ho said “International cooperation is more important than anything else to create a global ecosystem in this cutting-edge technology area.” He added, “Korea and Europe will maximize collaborative synergy and advance technological development by expanding joint research and human resource exchanges centered on new Quantum Cooperation Center.”
