한-EU 연구협력센터(센터장 김면중)는 오는 12월 1일 오전 11시(벨기에 타임)에 “오픈 사이언스의 정책과 실제”라는 주제로 KERC Policy Webinar를 개최한다. 센터는 올해 부터 KERC Webinar라는 명칭으로 한-유럽 협력 진흥을 위한 매치메이킹과 정책 논의 등을 기획, 추진해 오고 있으며, 향후에도 지속할 계획이다.
특히, 정책 논의의 경우 오픈 사이언스를 포함하여 젠더, 연구윤리, 사회적 가치 등 R&D와 사회와의 관계에 관한 이슈들을 중점적으로 다룰 전망이다.
금번 웨비나에 유럽측에서는 유럽 집행위 연구총국(DG RTD) 오픈 사이언스 담당관과 Science Europe 사무총장, cOAlition S 집행위원장이, 한국측에서는 STEPI, KISTI, KISTEP 관련 전문가들이 각각 참여할 예정이다.
추후 회의결과를 공유할 예정이며, 금번 웨비나 참석을 희망하는 경우 첨부한 참가 신청서를 통해 참여가 가능하다.
On 1 December 2020 (11:00AM, Belgium), the Korea-EU Research Centre(MyonJung Kim, Director General) is organising the KERC Policy Webinar, "The Open Science Policy and Practice." The Centre has been planning this year a series of KERC Webinars, providing opportunities for the discussions on R&D policies and for the match-making between researchers to promote Korea-EU R&D Cooperation. And this initiative will be continued.
The Policy Webinars will be mainly focused on the issues concerning the science-society relationship, such as Gender Equality, Research Ethics, Societal Values.
The Open Science experts in Europe, including the officer in charge of Open Science in DG RTD, the Executive Director of cOAlition S and the Secretary General of the Science Europe, will take part in this webinar along with several Korean experts of STEPI, KISTI, KISTEP.
