Acting his reputation as a well-known tech-savvy early adopter, the de facto head of South Korea's retail conglomerate Shinsegae unveiled "Eli", an autonomous smart shopping cart under development, through his Instagram on Thursday.
The smart shopping cart made its sudden debut in cyberspace a day after group vice chairman Chung Yong-jin said at a job fair in Seoul that he would develop a shopping cart with innovative features to provide easy shopping experiences.
