[KERC News 2024 Q4] Our main activities

As Korea's Horizon Europe association approaches, the number of researchers interested in Korea-EU cooperation through Horizon Europe continues to increase both domestically and internationally.

In response, the KERC has been carrying out various activities. Some of these activities are shown in the photos below. In addition to what is written here, we have also provided individual consultations to numerous individual researchers and research institutions.

KERC Youth Forum 2024

(Nov 30) The KERC organized 3rd edition of KERC Youth Forum in TU Delft in the Netherlands. About 70 Korean young researchers gathered on site to share experiences, provide mentoring and build networks. (read more)

KERC Academy with ETRI

(Dec 2-6) This year, the KERC Academy was held in collaboration with researchers and research managers from ETRI. It provided in-depth workshop on Horizon Europe project management in Brussels and Berlin.

Horizon Europe Pillar 2 Webinar

(Dec 10) The KERC hosted the first open Horizon Europe Pillar 2 webinar for Korean researchers, which explained step-by-step application process and showcased Korean participation cases. With over 350 registrants we confirmed a high level of interest in Horizon Europe. (read more)

K-Science&Technology Global Forum

(Dec 11) The KERC showcased its best practices and activities at the 2024 K-Science & Technology Global Forum. Under the G-KIC one roof Council, launched during the forum, the KERC will serve as a national strategic R&D center from 2025, coordinating and generating synergies between overseas offices.
